Corbyn, Jeremy

That this House praises the wave of student occupations across the country against Israel's unlawful invasion and bombing of Gaza; regrets that an estimated thousand Palestinians have been killed as a direct result of the recent Israeli invasion of Gaza with many more people injured and suffering ongoing hardship; and welcomes the engagement of young people in protesting against the unfolding human tragedy in Gaza by taking direct action at numerous institutions including Cambridge University, Essex University, Kings College London, Manchester Metropolitan University, Oxford University, Queen Mary University London and Sussex University.

  1. Dear students from all religions and other, and all corners of our small globe, who came together and occupied the law faculty at Cambridge University.

You see the ripple effects of your actions for justice and solidarity with the oppressed of Gaza...

WE WILL UNITE TOGETHER FOR JUSTICE, we WILL make our voices heard even with the control of our media.

  2. How noble is this; someone acting under parliamentary privilege. Jeremy Corbyn is not an M.P. in Cambridge.

  3. And what, start celebrating failure as this group does? Where I have failed to make the most of opportunities life has presented me, I have either accepted my culpability or put it behind me... not blamed everything from Zionist intrigue to not getting my tuck-box, but never myself.

Students reading, next time Sam suggests you follow *any* course of action, think very carefully as he has no personal investment. Alternatively, carry on plumbing the depths of loose political morality.
